Awareness session for DSLs and Online Safety Leads
There is a greater emphasis than ever before on online safety in schools and other settings. These sessions are aimed at any practitioner wanting to gain a greater understanding into keeping young people safe online.
Simon Easton, the E-Safety Officer at Northamptonshire County Council, will guide you through interactive sessions covering the most popular apps and websites used by young people in Northamptonshire, the impact the internet is having on young people's mental wellbeing, ways to keep young people safe online (especially when using social media), online grooming, developing policies, understanding our digital footprint and - most importantly - resources and activities to take back and implement in your setting.
