Teach Mindfulness to Children
Mindfulness practice increases children’s awareness of self, others and help them to direct their attention and control distraction. In partnership with MISP (Mindfulness in Schools Programme), Inspire is offering training to teach mindfulness to primary aged pupils through the paws b curriculum. This is a high quality training where the techniques and materials provided are fully grounded in research and evidence based practice emanating from Oxford, Cambridge and Bangor Universities.
This training three- day training is suitable for leaders, teachers and support staff who have already established a practice in mindfulness. A foundations in mindfulness, MBCT or MBSR course is a prerequisite for acceptance onto this course. At the end of the three days you will be qualified to teach mindfulness to children and be given access to a range of high quality resource materials.
