This session is suitable for Head, Deputy Head and Assistant Head Teachers. With a focus on way to promote professional learning among your staff, it is intended to encourage professional dialogue, exchange ideas and to explore effective strategies for leadership. The session is led by Jane Clancy, a highly successful Head Teacher who ran an Ofsted outstanding school for many years.
This training explores how to make effective use of outcomes data to inform teaching and assessment for learning in the classroom. It is organised over three sessions.
Session 1: Friday 19th January is for Head, Deputy and Assistant Heads
Session 2: Friday 2nd February is for middle leaders or assessment leaders
Session 3: Is a follow on form session 2 and is for middle leaders or assessment leaders.
Please only attend session 2 if you are able to attend session 3 as well. Heads must attend the first session but are welcome to attend all sessions.
This session is to explore School Self Evaluation and the kind of features of an evaluation that have the greatest impact on securing improvement. It is intended for Head, Deputy Head and Assistant Head Teachers. Please bring along your school self evaluation to this session.
This session is to explore School Development Planning and the kind of features of a plan, and the mechanisms for engaging others, that have the greatest impact on securing improvement. It is intended for Head, Deputy Head and Assistant Head Teachers. Please bring along your school Development Plan to this session.

Our Specialist Leader, Zoe Richards, is running a Subject Leader Toolkit development course. The course runs across 5 sessions and will focus on the following:
- What makes a great middle leader?
- The Toolkit needed to be an effective leader; including interpersonal and organisational skills
- Effective leadership and the power of coaching
- Lesson observation
- Monitoring and assessment
This training is suitable for teaching staff who are potentially capable of leading others through middle leadership. It will help them to develop their leadership skills through researching practices linked to teaching and learning so that they can improve the quality of provision through evidence based practice. There is no charge for this training for Inspire members.
Suitable for Head Teachers, Data Protection Officers and senior administrative staff. This session explores the statutory obligations for all school in relation to the new data protections laws.
